How to Remove a Parking Permit Sticker?
Our self cling parking permits are designed to leave no mess and are extremely easy to remove, as removing ordinary parking permits can be difficult. If you have an existing permit sticker that is not one of our self cling parking permit stickers that you need to remove, follow these steps:
Gather your supplies: You'll need a razor blade or a plastic scraper, a spray bottle filled with warm soapy water, and a clean cloth.
Wet the sticker: Spray the warm soapy water generously onto the parking permit sticker. This will help loosen the adhesive.
Start scraping: Carefully use the razor blade or plastic scraper to lift one corner of the sticker. Be gentle to avoid damaging the windshield or the sticker itself.
Peel it off: Once you have a corner lifted, gently peel the sticker off at a sharp angle, moving slowly to avoid tearing it. Continue spraying with soapy water as needed to keep it moist.
Clean the residue: After removing the sticker, there may be some adhesive residue left on the windshield. Use the clean cloth and more soapy water to gently rub off the residue until the surface is clean.
Final touches: Wipe the windshield clean and dry with a dry cloth to ensure there's no residue or soap left.
Firstly, turn over the parking permit so the paper side is facing you, inside of the car.
Next, clean the inside of your car's windshield or window to ensure it's free from dust and debris. You can use a clean cloth for this.
Then stick this onto the window and make sure this is positioned correctly. Smoothen the permit, making sure there are no wrinkles or bends. Pull the top corner, ensuring you are just pulling the paper.
Use one hand to make sure you do not pull the plastic part of the permit off if necessarry. Pull the rest of the paper completely off and dispose of. Adjust as necessary.
Your permit is stuck on! Enjoy the permit, and when it's time to take it off, simply peel it off, no mess!
I was dealing with Lewis Towers and he was simply FANTASTIC!
He worked with us on our art works and no change was too much trouble and everything was explained to me. The permits we received were of excellent quality. I would highly recommend Lesar.
