The Evolis LPA047NAA alternate clear patch smart/ full cut ribbon protects both sides of your smart cards, without compromising frequencies. The LPA047NAA ribbon is a dual-sided laminate overlay, designed for use with smart cards. Featuring a cut-out for smart contact chips on the face and a full protective layer over the reverse. This ribbon is ideal for protecting cards from wear and spills on the front and back, while retaining smart chip features. This ribbon produces strong, durable prints with a card lifespan of up to 3 years.

Storage

To get the most out of this product, we recommend using the ribbon within one year and storing it in a cool, dry environment absent dust and direct sunlight which can damage the panels from heat exposure. The precise lifespan of ribbon supplies will vary by manufacturer and model, but as a rule of thumb most manufacturers estimate that ribbons have a lifespan of up to one year. Once a ribbon has expired, the panels will start tearing during the printing process.
