The Evolis LPA048NAA alternate clear patch smart/mag cut ribbon keeps your cards protected without compromising readability. Designed to print a clear protective overlay on the front and back of the card, this ribbon ensures both sides are protected against spills, and wear and tear. The LPA048NAA ribbon has a cut-out on the front for smart chip and on the back for magnetic stripe to ensure full read functions are available. The LPA048NAA ribbon produces strong, durable prints with a card lifespan of up to 3 years.

Storage

To get the most out of this product, we recommend using the ribbon within one year and storing it in a cool, dry environment absent dust and direct sunlight which can damage the panels from heat exposure. The precise lifespan of ribbon supplies will vary by manufacturer and model, but as a rule of thumb most manufacturers estimate that ribbons have a lifespan of up to one year. Once a ribbon has expired, the panels will start tearing during the printing process.
